The Star
Something gentle is still pouring.
The Star comes after the dark. A figure kneels by a quiet pool and pours water onto the land and into the water, and above them one large star shines among seven smaller ones. There’s no hurry in this card. It’s about rest, repair and quiet hope.
You don’t have to feel hopeful to be given this card. Hope here is small and steady. It’s like a light that’s still on when you’ve stopped looking at it. It asks for very little: that you rest, that you’re kind to yourself, and that you let yourself receive as well as give.
Think about what’s been draining you, and what might be refilling you. Even a little refilling counts.
Ritual: One Minute of Sky
Step outside, or stand at a window, and look up for one full minute with no phone. Let your shoulders drop. Name one thing you’re grateful for and one thing you’d like to be gentle about. If you have a glass of water nearby, drink it slowly as part of the ritual.
Journal prompt: What would it feel like to be refilled instead of always pouring?
You are allowed to rest and still be on your way.
